Deeps - Aftermath of Last Night

Deeps is a Hamilton-based musician who needed to brand his 2019 album In the Aftermath of Last Night. We took artistic direction from the industrial landscape of Hamilton, which is featured in a lot of the songs on the album. The album explores heartbreak and false starts. We took that to the skies to show the exhaust from the steel plants forming hearts that break as they reach the sky. The design was carried off many platforms including a preview of his songs with animations of the smoke stacks.

About Danielle

Danielle is a graduate of the YSDN Bachelors of Design, Honours, from York University and Sheridan College. She also has a Diploma in Professional Writing from Douglas College. Danielle is a Provisional Member of the Registered Graphic Designers Association of Canada. Danielle works out of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Danielle is also a musician/songwriter and hobbyist painter. Danielle is a horrible waterskier, and yet still likes to swim.
