For Legacy Writers we came up with a branding solution out of 3 possible long-term stylescapes. While Chris wasn’t ready for a website yet, we could show him what his website could look like further down the road using stylescapes.

Stylescapes

Here’s a glimpse into the process for company branding. Below are three stylescapes. Stylescapes are a useful tool for visualizing a proposed visual identity before committing. They begin with some research, some keywords to help describe the company, the client’s ideas, and the target market. Using this information a case can be made for each scenario. The client gets to see it in context and how the whole visual identity can be tied together to account for future planning. Say, as in this case, you only want to commit to a business card and stationery, but you’d want to see how the branding will work down the road. Stylescapes help tell your brand’s story before it gets built.
